How do you write emails and formal letters in Arabic? (part 1)

Writing formal letters and emails in Arabic is not difficult: Sentences and expressions for the most important ingredients of a letter: the salutation (المخاطبة) and opening sentences.

Writing letters or emails in Arabic is actually not that difficult. Once you have started writing letters or emails, you will get used to the standard phrases pretty quickly. Never forget the most important rule: try to be polite!

In part 1, we will focus on the first parts of a letter. Part 2 will deal with the main parts and endings.

In the future, I would like to suggest you to write a book on writing skills in Arabic, especially on the stylistics, and the common terms and expression usage.
